One Invoice in Pounds. Everything Else Handled.

You should not have to learn how Indian provident fund thresholds work in order to hire a bookkeeper. Here is what happens on our side, and what actually reaches you.

What happens every month

  • Payroll is calculated and run in India, in rupees, on the local schedule
  • Income tax is deducted at source (TDS) and remitted to the Indian authorities
  • Provident fund and insurance contributions are made and filed
  • Your hire receives a compliant payslip they can actually read
  • You receive one invoice, in pounds, itemised into employment cost and our fee
  • Exchange rate movement is absorbed within the agreed band, not passed on line by line

What your invoice looks like

Two lines. The first is your hire's employment cost — their salary plus the statutory employer contributions that go with it. The second is our fee, at whichever rate your headcount puts you on. That is the whole invoice.

There is no markup hidden inside the statutory contributions, no separate charge for running payroll, no per-payslip fee, and no recruitment fee. If something changes — a salary review you have agreed, a statutory rate change in India — you hear about it before it appears on an invoice, not after.

Currency is worth a word. You are invoiced in pounds at a rate we agree, and we absorb normal movement rather than re-pricing you monthly. If sterling moves far enough for that to become unsustainable, we talk to you about it. We do not quietly adjust.

Four questions worth asking before you sign anything

  • Is the quote all-in?

Ask whether statutory employer costs are inside the number or added later. It is the biggest source of surprise on a first invoice.

  • Who pays to replace someone?

If the hire leaves in month three, find out now whether the replacement search is included or billed again. Ours is included.

  • What exchange rate do you use?

A competitive fee can be quietly undone by an unfavourable FX rate applied every month. Ask specifically.

  • What is the minimum term?

A monthly price means little if you are committed for twelve months regardless.
